Your Tasks

For our Data & Technology Team we are currently looking for a new member located in Portugal. 

  • Help us grow our expertise in Amazon QuickSight, also by sharing your knowledge.
  • Design and develop visually appealing and interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau, Amazon QuickSight, Qlik Sense or Power BI to present data in an understandable format and present and explain these solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and support our customers to design new reporting solutions and optimize existing ones.
  • Prepare and analyze datasets to extract meaningful insights, identify trends and uncover opportunities for improvement of business strategies, processes and performance.
  • Challenge existing dashboard and visualization solutions in order to bring them to the next level.
  • Ambition and Excitement in finding unconventional solutions für visualization challenges if necessary.
  • Collaborate with our data engineers to define data models as basis for frontend visualizations.

Your Profile

Skills

  • Expert knowledge in Amazon QuickSight plus with one additional Data Visualization tool (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
  • Proficient expertise in creation and optimization (layout and performance) of dashboards and filter logics
  • Very deep understanding of storytelling with data, the use of drilldown functions and KPIs
  • Knowledge of SQL for data preparation
  • Data modelling
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel as a data source
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Experience

  • 2+ years of professional experience creating visualizations and dashboards with complex filter and aggregation logics
  • Track record of creating Amazon QuickSight dashboards and bringing them into production
  • Applied experience within every part of the end 2 end data visualization process
  • Connected source systems via APIs to visualization tools
  • Collaborated closely with design and data teams throughout the development process
  • Set up and configuration of data streams using visualization tools/services
  • Conducted rigorous data validation and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of visualizations
