Your Tasks

rpc UK is looking for a high-performing Accessories Value Consultant to support a premium vehicle manufacturer, within their Aftersales Department. The candidate must be a proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (formulas, pivot tablets, data analysis), Outlook (email/calendar management, Word (document formatting, proofing), PowerPoint (presentations), and a proactive professional with experience coordinating numerous projects whilst keeping to tight deadlines and providing a first-class and focussed approach in a fast paced and diverse role, that is target driven.

The Role:

The programme is an essential tool for us to aid Accessory Sales in the UK & Ireland. The programme not only supports sales into the retailer network but also supports retailers with their sales to end customers. The key objective of the programme is to increase a retailer’s accessory achievement vs potential with a primary focus on engagement with Parts Mangers within the Centres as well as all other areas of the retailer business (Sales, Aftersales, Used Car etc), the deployment of the pilot projects, campaigns and initiatives from both the OEM and NSC which ultimately aid retailers to achieve their Accessory Parts Target. 

Current accessory sales into the network are approx. £48m per year (turnover), with this role expected to bring in £1.43M in additional to turnover.

  • Contribute to the promotion of central accessory programs & initiatives. Identify novel opportunities to enhance accessory sales within the retailer network. Compile best practices related to key accessory topics & develop innovative sales initiatives.
  • Ensure the attainment of Retailer Accessory targets. Enhance the skills and knowledge of retailers to optimise Accessories and Lifestyle purchases, maximising sales-out opportunities.
  • Regularly align with key Marketing, Sales & Customer Support team stakeholders within the client organisation on relevant performance, initiatives, and support topics. Attend regular development & progress meetings with development agency confirming & prioritising requirements as relevant.
  • Consultants are expected to participate in weekly virtual meetings with the Service Development team. These sessions serve as a platform to address any issues raised by the network during the week, while also allowing the Sales Development team to provide pertinent updates to the team.
  • Provide dynamic project management & stakeholder alignment with relevant experience to drive ongoing projects & developments. Ability to communicate clearly and escalate when relevant.

Your Profile

The right candidate needs to have existing Automotive, accessory product and retail experience to hit the ground running for maximum impact from day one.  This 12 month FTC will focus on additional strategic initiatives and pilots to result in increased number of best practice documents to support all UK and Ireland retailers to increase their accessory performance. The focus will be on new opportunities in particular, with through put volumes.

  • Previous automotive aftersales experience
  • Awareness of importance of Relationship / Stakeholder Management.
  • Ability to demonstrate self-driven projects and initiatives and innovative Best Practices to showcase ROI successes.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse data, and information from variable sources and make recommendations, identifying risks and opportunities, including Reporting dashboards, reports, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven ability in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (formulas, pivot tablets, data analysis), Outlook (email/calendar management, Word (document formatting, proofing), PowerPoint (presentations).
  • Ability to inspire people to contribute to the success of the department.
  • Can demonstrate a high degree of being able to work on own initiative and motivation.
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to and passion for the Brand.
  • Flexibility to work a hybrid role between the office in Farnborough and at home.
